Dr. Jonathan So is a fully licensed optometrist who practises in Scarborough and Markham (Ontario, Canada). As a primary health care provider, Dr. So examines, diagnoses, treats, and manages diseases and disorders of the eye and visual system.

Dr. So received his Doctor of Optometry degree with honours from University of Waterloo, School of Optometry. He is the recipient of the Centennial Optical Scholarship and the Essilor Award for Academic and Clinical Excellence in Optics.

Dr. So completed an externship in ocular disease and therapeutics at The Eye Foundation of Utah (Salt Lake City, USA), where he was extensively trained in advanced therapeutic eye care. The Eye Foundation of Utah specializes in ocular disease treatment, glaucoma management, laser vision correction, and cataract surgery.

Upon graduation and board-certification, Dr. So joined the large multi-doctor practice of Dr. Albert S.Y. Ng and Associates, where he is dedicated to providing comprehensive family eye health and vision care using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and a friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Dr. So strongly believes that prevention is the best medicine. It follows that his practice philosophy is to enhance and preserve vision by delivering the highest standard of eye health care, with an emphasis on patient education and eye disease prevention. Dr. So prides himself in taking the time to explain and discuss all his patients' concerns and needs.

Dr. So is dedicated to the highest level of patient care and constantly strives to learn the latest treatment techniques, disease management, and to incorporate advanced diagnostic technology into his practice.

Dr. So is a certified orthokeratologist, and is fully trained in laser vision correction co-management. He is an affiliate doctor with the renowned TLC laser eye centers.
